Your goal is to tweak the client settings to match the image below.
Click the Settings button (lobby or table) and do all of the following:
Gametab:
- disable (uncheck) everything
Graphics tab:
- click the default settings
- use the classic view on the Graphics Settings tab
- disable avatars

Click the lobby Settings button and do all of the following:
- uncheck View Game Animation
- check Disable "Congratulations" Announcement
- check Hide Hand Result Bar
- uncheck Show Ghost Cards
- uncheck Flash the Task Bar
- select the left most cardback design
